Ulefone Would Showcase World’s First Helio P70 Smartphone at MWC 2018
Mobile World Congress (MWC) is the largest tech show of the year for fancy new smartphones. This year the tech conference is to take place on 26 February to 1 March in Barcelona, during which most phone brands will be in attend and show off their latest devices. Ulefone, a Chinese phone brand will be no exception. So what can we expect from it ?
Ulefone claim that they would bring some really big hits at MWC and they will show off their flagship phone named Ulefone T2 Pro at the exhibition. It’s confirmed that the T2 Pro would be the world’s first handset equipped by the new powerful MediaTek Helio P70 processor. We’ve known that MediaTek have been working on mid/high-end processors and as their latest product, the Helio P70 chipset stands out with powerful yet efficient Cortex-A73 processor, advanced 12nm FinFET technology, AI-powered DSP and Google’s second-generation machine learning TensorFlow technology, resulting in a premium overall performance yet lower energy consumption. Moreover, according to the new Antutu score data, the scores that the Helio P70 processor gets exceeds that of the Qualcomm 660 CPU and is very close to that of the Qualcomm 835 processor.
Aside from the quite promising Helio P70 processor, based on the leaked render we can find that the Ulefone T2 Pro would sport an iPhone X-like all screen display, and yet trendy dual camera setup on the back. But there’s no sign of a fingerprint scanner. We can boldly speculate that the phone might be equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Well, final specs of the T2 Pro are yet to be released.
