Rugged Ulefone Armor 2 Went Through -200C Low-temperature Test
Aside from featuring excellent waterproof, dust-proof and shatter-resistant performance, the Ulefone Armor 2 can also survives at extreme temperatures with a rather wide working temperature range between -400C to a maximum of 800C. Previously we’ve got a video putting the Armor 2 in a pan filled with boiling water and it’s fairly reasonable that today we have a new one in which the Armor 2 was subjected to a rather low temperature. As shown in the video, the Armor 2 along with two rivals, iPhone 7 and Oneplus 5 is put in the freezer with the temperature set to as low as -200 centigrade. In 5 minutes’ later, taking the three devices out from the freezer and we can find that the iPhone 7 has been turned off, the display on the Oneplus 5 fails to respond to tap, and the Armor 2 turns out to work pretty well, and is not damaged in any way. Ulefone attribute this to the housing made of flexible TPU, with some parts in glass fiber reinforced polycarbonate material and metal. So the Armor 2 can withstand extreme temperatures in which other smartphones would probably die.
On top of that, the Armor 2 can also offer some quite high-end features like powerful Helio P25 octa-core 2.6GHz processor coupled with 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage expandable up to 256GB, 16MP rear camera, 13MP selfie shooter, 4700mAh battery with 9V/2A fast charge support, front-facing fingerprint scanner, a 5.0-inch FHD display with a PPI of 441, extensive 27 frequency bands under 6 network types, handy physical buttons on the sides, and Android 7.0 Nougat as the OS.
