Kaspersky now offers a free antivirus for PC

Security software firm Kaspersky has just launched a free antivirus for PC users, promising total protection for your files and oversight of your web traffic for malicious activity. Kaspersky Free, which has been in development for 18 months, is now available in selected countries. In the words of Eugene Kaspersky himself it offers “the bare essentials: file, email and web antivirus; automatic updates, self-defense; quarantine; and so on.” Which are essentially “the indispensable basics that no one on the planet should do without.”
